The Below- named registered electors in Belize propose that the questions below raise issues of sufficient public importance and hereby petition that they be submitted to the electors for their views via a referendum pursuant to the Referendum Act of Belize:-
1) Do you agree that marriage is the complementary union of a male and a female? YES or NO
2) Do you agree that in Belizean society “gender” is defined as a person’s unchangeable sex, either male or female in accordance with their chromosomes and reproductive biology, and that “gender equality” is defined as equality between men (persons of the male sex) and women (persons of the female sex)? YES or NO
